simply not going to happen; so the only solution is for unmoderated
newsgroup subscribers to continue filtering out "googlegroups.com"
message-id and reference headers from their favorite news readers;
discussions among news server administrators in news.admin.peering,
news.admin.net-abuse.usenet, news.software.nntp, and other related
forums suggest that mercantile/commercial interests support Google

they knew google groups was a backscatter design, for years they didnt
care, maybe still dont, I reject anything that is from google groups so
wouldnt surprise me if its not fixed.

They know that if you put multi periods in email addresses they ignore it
still

"Yeah we know, but it's been borked for so long now we're not fixing it

Google have usurped the Usenet Newsgroup name-space by permitting
their proprietary Google Groups to be named as if they're real Usenet,
regardless of potential name clashes. Their own faux groups are the
only thing that they care about.

their proprietary Google Groups to be named as if they're real Usenet,
regardless of potential name clashes. Their own faux groups are the
only thing that they care about.

100% agree. Google got the archive they wanted from deja, then ran for
a while to build a user base. Now they have no reason to care about
Usenet, their users have all they want right there. They most likely
would not notice if Google were disconnected from the rest of Usenet.
